Exploring Family History

The Rains and Hackney families have a rich history in Marshal, TX and many of them are still here. …well sort of. If you take a quick trip to the Greenwood Cemetery next to the beautiful ETBU campus you will find the Rains and Hackney family plots complete with historical markers and veteran flags.

In our previous posts we discussed how my great great grandfather was a founding member of the Salamander Fire Company. Well here he is.
