So much has happened since the last blog post.
We stripped the building down to the bones. Just brick, beams, and concrete.
So when you remodel a building originally built in 1872 you expect to find strange and unusual things, but I certainly never expected to find this creepy looking thing.
What is it?!? Honestly, who knows?
I am just going to say it is a real life Chupacabra!
Ok, back to the remodel...
Opening up the front and then starting to rebuild. New façade, new floor trusses, removing paint from the brick, and sandblasting the beams.
One thing I am most excited about is the custom stained glass that my dear fried George Mason is creating for us. Here is a sneak peek.
This beautiful piece will be installed directly over the front door. (...ok scroll back up and look at the previous pictures of the front to see exactly where this will go.)
I know, right!?! I can't wait either.
